WSA's Special Needs Program
The Westfield Soccer Association (WSA) offers a soccer program exclusively for special needs children in the Westfield community. The program, called “Westfield Winners”, is designed to meet the needs of children with physical and/or intellectual disabilities.

Program Description and Objectives
Westfield Winners is a non-competitive, one-on-one soccer program designed to offer a safe environment where special needs children can learn to play and enjoy the game of soccer. Children will play at their own pace in a relaxed atmosphere guided by their own dedicated ‘Soccer Buddy’. Westfield Winners also aims to encourage higher self-esteem and a sense of belonging to a team.
The program is open to any special needs school-age child in Westfield between the ages of 4 through 19 and runs two separate sessions in the fall and spring.
SPRING 2021 Session
Session Dates: Eight Sessions. 4/3 - 5/22.
Time: 11am - 12pm
Location: Elm Street Field (across the street from Stop & Shop)
Sneakers are fine. Shin guards optional.
Westfield Winners is being offered free of charge to any Westfield special needs child between the ages of 4 and 19.
Please note that space for this program is limited and players will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
All participants MUST register online in order to secure a spot in the program.
KEEP IN MIND BECAUSE OF COVID PROTOCOLS IN PLACE, YOU MUST FILL OUT A WEEKLY WAIVER PRIOR TO ARRIVING ON THE FIELD EACH SESSION. THIS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON TEAM SNAP WHICH YOU WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY SIGNED UP FOR ONCE WE RECEIVE YOUR REGISTRATION.
