The curriculum will include training of the fundamental soccer skills, competitive scrimmages, and fun games.
All players are advised to bring their soccer equipment; lots of water; sun cream and snacks. All full day campers also need to bring a lunch.

This upcoming Summer the WSA will provide all travel players the opportunity to take part in a pre season camp to help them prepare for the upcoming season. Players will be divided based on age, gender and ability to ensure maximum results from the camp. From Monday through Friday all players will receive 2 hours of training provided by the staff assigned by the WSA. The curriculum for the camp will be designed by the director of coaching for the WSA and the professional training staff. All training will be in line with the age appropriate priorities with a focus on the technical and tactical needs of our players. Technical training will be enhanced by introducing players to game like situations in which they will also be tactically challenged.
All participating players will also receive a t-shirt and soccer ball when they participate in the camp.
In an effort to continue its mission of soccer education the Westfield Soccer Association (Club) is pleased to announce the formation of two summer training sessions. These camps will be open to all area families who wish to enroll their child or children in the camp. The camps will be run by our current WSA and FC Premier coaches who will provide an excellent environment to learn the game and to enjoy the summer in a positive, productive way.

Westfield Soccer Summer Camp Philosophy
- We believe that the player should have as much contact with the ball as possible.
- Ball contact is the only way to become comfortable and to develop foot skills.
- We believe that the player should be exposed to game scenarios during training, which will enable them to make quick decisions during matches.
- Development of speed of thought and improvisation; the players need to have freedom to create and learn from the mistakes, and by all means to have fun.
- The game is the best teacher.
Our goal is not to create professional players, but to educate players and share our passion for the game while developing each child into the best soccer player that he or she can be.
Walkups welcome and processed on the field, but camp shirt and ball are not guaranteed unless you register online.
