Hot Summer Nights

Starts June 25 @ 7:00p @ Roosevelt Intermediate School Field

Westfield Soccer Association is excited to announce the 11th Season of Hot Summer Nights, starting Tuesday, June 25 at 7pm at Roosevelt School.

Hot Summer Nights is a free program run by the WSA that provides all member players the opportunity to play pickup style soccer during the summer.  Sessions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Roosevelt School from 7-8:30 pm - no session on Thursday, July 4.  There is no fee for this program and it is open to current U7 players (1st Grade) and above.

Each session is guided by a member of the WSA, but is a coach free environment - on both sidelines!

Parents are welcome to come watch, but they are not allowed to instruct or cheer or really do anything at all!  Hot Summer Nights is an open play environment for players of various ages and levels.  The WSA believes that there needs to be balance in the development of the player: structured training sessions to learn the technical and tactical aspects of soccer and the unstructured environment that Hot Summer Nights provides to promote creativity and a love of the game.

All players must dress appropriately including shin guards and remember to bring ample water.

In case of weather, please check the WSA website for information and also sign up for field closure alerts here on the Westfield Soccer Website.
