In Portuguese, CANARINHAS means "Little Canaries" which, admittedly, is not likely to put fear into our opponents, at least those who know nothing about international soccer. For those in the know, they will respect it, because it is the nickname for the Brazilian national teams (both men and women), which historically are among the best in the world.
