This trip is getting better and better. We had an early breakfast to prepare us for a very eventful day. In the morning we took a coach to North Zealand which is the region north of Copenhagen known for its castles. We spent the morning exploring Frederiksberg Castle, which was amazing. The gardens were extraordinary and the girl’s favorite part was the grand ball room. Afterwards we walked in the city of Hillerod and had lunch at a not so small café.

After lunch we traveled to
Roskilde where played against the Himmelev IF U-17 girl’s team, which had a forward on the team who also a new member of the Danish Dynamite – their National team! It was a hard fought game and we tied 0-0. The grass fields are amazing; they are carpets! We took a group picture afterwards and they gave us gifts. It was an awesome experience.
We then traveled back to Copenhagen for a great dinner at the Hard Rock followed by an evening at
Tivoli
Gardens, which is an amusement park in the center of the city. The players went on all the rides and most have lost their voices from screaming so much.
All the girls and parents are having a great time; no one has stopped smiling since we arrived.
Tomorrow we depart for Sweden....to prepare for Gothia.
